What
is a sales coach?
Think about
winning teams and what comes to mind – a great coach.
Great
coaches will:
·
Motivate
· Find your strengths and show you
how to capitalize on
them
· Identify your areas needing improvement and put a plan
together
to eliminate them
· Show how you can leverage your team members to
boost your success
Sales
coaches are no different!
We help you reach another level of success. We create more momentum
and consistency by taking effective, focused action. Managers know the
importance of coaching their team members. Unfortunately few ever get
the chance to devote the time to this absolutely necessary developmental
opportunity. Now you can have your personal coach.
Can
you benefit from sales coaching?
Answer
these questions and see if a sales coach is right for you or your sales
teams:
1.
Do you consistently meet or exceed sales quotas?
2. Do you have a plan or objective for every sales call?
3. Do you meet at least once a week for at least an hour
of uninterrupted time with your manager (or sales
team member)?
4. Do you follow a specific sales process for all of your
calls?
5. Do you meet weekly with other members of your team
to discuss business?
6. Do you have a fear of rejection/failure?
7. Is your forecasting consistently accurate within 10%?
8. Are you too willing to lower your prices to make a sale?
If
you answered no to 2 or more of the questions, you can benefit from
sales coaching. But coaching is not just for someone needing to improve
their skills. It is a powerful tool for top performers who need to be
challenged to achieve more consistent and better results.

How
do you determine where I need the most help?
The
most effective sales organizations are those that have an accurate benchmark
of their employee’s sales skills. We use an industry recognized
assessment tool, Knowledge for Sales, to find where you excel and where
you need to improve. Core sales competencies are measured:
·
Client Relationship Management
· Conducting the Sales Call
· Dealing With Client Objections
· Identifying & Assessing Client Needs
· Negotiation
· Planning & Preparation
· Results Orientation
· Sales Communication Techniques
· Sales Presentation Skills
· Time Management
The assessment is a scenario-based, multiple choice format. After the
tool is taken (online), we discuss the results and come up with an action
plan to enhance your current level of sales performance. This may include
assigned reading, mentoring, and role playing.
How
does the program work?
This is so
simple yet so effective. No travel required – this is one on one
telecoaching.
Steps are:
1. Assessment
of skills – taken online.
2. First call is about 2 hours to discuss results of assessment to
identify performance gaps and areas of focus
3. We meet weekly for one hour via phone. Each call has pre-assigned
“homework” on a designated topic
4. The total program lasts as long as you want it to (minimum of
one month)
Pricing:
$150 for initial assessment and consultation. $200 a month for weekly
calls. This also includes unlimited email coaching and short coaching
conversations (10 minutes or less) you may want to have before an important
sales call or presentation.
Think
of this as a mentoring process.
We
will mutually determine how long to continue the coaching. However, don’t
be surprised if you don’t want it to end! If your goal is to attain
a level of success you have never reached before, giving sales coaching
a try.
